The Guesthouse Carmelite is a wonderful B & B. Pasqual and his wife are so welcoming. I needed a computer and Pasqual let me us his personal computer. He was always giving much needed advice on Brussels when asked and was a joy to talk to in the morning over breakfast. The location of this lodging was perfect! in the busy part of Brussels for us tourists but located on a very quiet residential street! 5 Start for Carmelite Guesthouse.

we stayed only for three nights but we would´t have minded to stay longer. We had a great welcoming and we loved the house. Breakfast great and very assorted. Despite a quite house in a quiet street, the only problem we found is that in the weekend, people who walk by is a little bit noisy.

The Carmelike Guest House is a unique and welcoming place to stay with the perfect loaction for doing many things on foot. I was staying with my grandson who has celiac disease and every effort was made to accommodate this including buying special food for his breakfast. The room (only one rented out) is up a couple of flights of stairs so wouldn't be suitable for some people. However, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Small and perfectly formed in the perfect location
First time visit to Brussels with a friend for our annual getaway. Pascale was friendly but not intrusive. Excellent recommendations for places to see and eat. The b&b was charming and historically interesting and very convenient for the old town, being round the corner from Grand Place. Our only gripe was that that the curtains in the bedroom could be darker to block out more of the bright street light but other than that it was a lovely place to stay. Despite all the recent (bad) publicity we felt perfectly safe.
