Azzahra Hotel - Jerusalem
Outstanding5.0 / 5
A quiet small hotel in a busy working area of the city just ten minutes from Herod's Gate so ideally placed for the tourist visiting the inner city sights. The Palestinian bus station with a direct bus to Bethlehem is close and the hotel reception booked an excellent Masada/Dead Sea tour for us. They also arranged the pick-up by a shared taxi back to the airport. And the hotel restaurant was not the pizza joint that we had expected. We had pizza once - and very nice it was too. But the rest of the time we ate tasty and fresh Palestinian food that could have come straight from the pages of Ottolenghi...
