We stayed here so that we could be close to the airport for an early morning flight at Fiumicino. We stayed in one of the bungalows, so I cannot comment on the camping facilities. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to be in the city exploring each day - it's a pretty long journey in/out, but if you're on a budget, this certainly is a great alternative! We stayed in the bungalow which consisted of three bunk beds, and a well-equiped bathroom - toilet, sink, and shower. It was all clean, plenty of hot water, despite being rather small. The internet can be difficult to connect to (adjust your settings on your phone so that you don't auto-connect). There is a grocery store, restaurant, playground, and other facilities available for guests. We visited the grocery store which was convenient. There is also a large grocery store directly across the street, as well as a McDonald's just down the road if you are in need. There are several busses that stop right in front of the campgrounds. There was a lot of noise of other guests walking around and talking at night, but that is to be expected in this environment. It felt safe, clean, and secure. It's very convenient to the airport, and they offer a shuttle with limited times for 12 Euros per person. It only took us 20 minutes on the shuttle to get to the airport.

Don't get me wrong, it is fairly nice, but for my taste it was a bit overrun by noisy highschool groups. Good for three days, but not longer. Next time in Rome we'll take a category higher. Sorry.

Hi- I enjoyed Rome tremendously on a budget. initially getting there was not as clear as i needed and it was a struggle, there is no foot path visible from the train station. -but once there, any further advice was given clearly and accurately. Thanks to the staff at camping village I was directed easily to town once I was there, , Next stay would have to include facilities to cook/prepare as the bungalow had nothing, even drinks. I would recommend the camp for good use of your money, clean, comfortable beds leaving enough cash for important visiting sites. Largest expense i think- regarding value for money was travel. Thanks for the stay.
