This hotel is good value for money, clean and quite pleasant, but the facilities are very basic with shared toilets and showers - no problem with privacy, just having to try and get access to them may be a problem at peak times. Rooms are very basic, old and in need of modernisation, but warm. Beds are comfortable. Only Polish TV channels. No tea / coffee making facilities, don't bring your own because the electrics are old and you don't want to inadvertantly melt them, or worse! Free wi-fi is a nice bonus, but speed is patchy. No silly registration screens needed, just enter the password you'll need to get at reception. One excellent feature is the restaurant at the front of the hotel, but be aware that it is run as a seperate business and their priority is not to specifically keep enough spaces for the hotel guests but instead serve members of the public. I managed to get a seat, just on my own, 1 night out of 3 ! It serves excellent Polish food in a lovely pre-war ambience and it is priced very well compared to other capital cities, although not cheap for the area. It's nearly impossible to get a seat because it is so popular with the locals who go there for business and personal functions, all quite smartly dressed, no casuals. If you can't get a seat there then there are several other restaurant choices within 10 minutes walking distance. Breakfast is served in the back room, typical Polish selection, hard luck if you expect something else. If your room deal does not include breakfast then the process for paying for breakfast is very confusing and even embarassing. I arrived for breakfast, there was no one managing the room, so I helped myself and I was then going to inform the receptionist that she needed to add a breakfast to my bill, but before I even got the chance the waiter appeared, asked my room number, then started to make a loud fuss in front of other guests that I had not paid and that I immedediately needed to "rectify the situat
