We enjoyed three lovely days touring Chester for our wedding anniversary. Chester Court location made it ideal for all our needs. Room great,we chose to stay in the courtyard as it suited our needs and gives you the opportunity to stay independent from the main hotel. Handy when you prefer to eat, drink and come as you please. Also handy for smokers because you simply walk out the door. Breakfast was great with lots of selection,be aware, for a midweek break times are 7 till 9 which can be early for some. We will certainly return in the future. Recommended.

Our room was in the annexe, slightly dated but ideal for a couple of nights. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. It is about 20 minutes easy walking to the City centre, with plenty of free parking. There was a shampoo come shower gel dispenser in the shower and a soap by the sink, with plenty of towels, coffee maker and biscuits. The staff were nice and welcoming, with a nice little bar area and nice sitting room just off the bar. Breakfast was very good, everything you needed to start you off for the day. Thanks' next time in Chester we will be back.

Reasonably priced for the quality. Closed roads made our arrival more complicated than it should have been. We were in an attic room, with no lift on the premises, so had to lug cases up a long steep stair. Receptionist offered help but she wouldn't have managed very well. The hotel has some external chalet-type rooms which look better. Our room was a bit down at heel, with worn flooring and a loose bedhead. Its sloping ceiling accentuated its smallness. Breakfast was OK, but not good. There are a couple of underused public rooms. Overall impression was of a decent quality facility that was being run on the cheap, and that needs some additional resource allocated for maintenance and renewal.
