Aishling House was a great place to stay....a 20 min bus ride from the city. The rooms are fairly spacious, and the bathroom shower was nice and big. The choices for breakfast were great, and there are two very nice restaurants around the corner for dinners. Robert and Frances are very helpful and friendly....just what B&B hosts should be!!

The b&b seemed chaotically run. We waited outside in the rain ringing the doorbell for 5 mins until another guest let us in. Waited in the hallway for the owner to appear for another 5 mins. Were taken to the wrong room first - waited for owner to go and swap the keys around. Decor was grubby and dated, room smelt musty. Wifi didn't work. We were woken up at 3am by noise outside our room -walls paper thin. Additionally we were informed when we arrived that the b&b no longer accepts card payment which seems ludicrous in this day and age. We had to go back out to withdraw 125 euros cash (no cash machine within walking distance so quite an inconvenience). The cost of the room (not including breakfast) seemed a lot given the service and size/condition of the room.

The house is lovely and the hosts very friendly and gracious! The food was delicious. Francis even made a special breakfast for our daughter on her birthday. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
