From my experience, the look and good quality of the facade and lobby sadly aren't reflected in the rest of the building. The doors to the rooms are very poor quality and the lighting up the narrow staircase is poor. The room itself was pretty basic. The bedside lights were badly fixed to the wall, the tv and some sort of box underneath it were connected by unsightly wiring. The corner shower had bath taps fitted with the type of attachment used to wash your hair! I'm not a big guy, but anyone larger than me would have had a hard time having a decent shower with the tap unit sticking in their back. The double glazing was very poor and i'd suggest that they were cheap units. The kettle was on a shelf in the wardrobe units and the safe box wasn't secured to anything - so anyone wanting to make off with my possessions could have just carried it away! All in all, not good value for money I'm afraid. They'll need to try a lot harder to get my custom again.

This hotel was possibly average for a London hotel. I'm not terribly fussy, but a few things really annoyed me, like how they hadn't vacuumed the carpet and there was a bottle left in the shower from the last person. Other than this, room was relatively well presented though not the same as on the website. The other major issue was that the windows hardly blocked out any noise, and there seemed to be loud music playing somewhere nearby into the night. I think if the carpet was clean, and I had earplugs this would be a reasonable place to stay. The breakfast in the morning was top notch, and I'm aware there are Spa facilities, but we didnt use them.
