Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. The room was really small, just the space for the bed and no more. And the queue for the breakfast room tables can be annoying. Very good value for money anyway, you can walk from the hotel to every destination of interest in the centre of the city.

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and found the location to be absolutely excellent, close to Metro, trams and bus stops. Really nice restaurants are situated in the same road. We were within walking distance of all the main city attractions. Lisbon is very hilly, with beautiful cobbled streets so comfy footwear is essential. We found the staff to be attentive and very helpful when we asked for directions or advice. There is a really nice lounge area to sit and have a cuppa, read or just chill. Breakfast buffet was served upstairs in the dining room and consisted of yogurt, various fruits, nuts, ham, cheese, cake, rolls & bread for toast. Cooked bacon and scrambled eggs were also available. They have an Expresso Coffee machine where you can help yourself or you may ask for a pot of coffee or hot water for tea. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room and although shower gel/soap is supplied, it is very minimal, so bring your own. There is no shampoo. A hairdryer is in the bathroom. The one downside is the noise outside at night. This is not necessarily due to revellers but noisy workmen/ cleaners. They were putting up scaffolding and power hosing walls during our stay which kept us awake every night. It has been suggested that it is best to request a room at the back of the hotel to avoid this noise. I must add that this is not a fault of the hotel. We would definitely return and consider the hotel to be good value for money.

Winding down after a long walking holiday in Spain, this was a perfect place to stay in Lisbon. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and with all that we needed, and the position is so central that you walk to all the old city sights. The metro is very near if you go further afield. Breakfast is a large smorgasbord, much more than in many European little hotels. Also there is an efficient lift, also not always present! We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would certainly come back.
