Convenient and friendly
very convenient for short stay if need to be near main train station. Very short walk to some good restaurants and famous Fatamorgana Gelato. Some directions away from tourist areas are a bit dirty. Metro close to get to main sites. Staff very friendly and helpful and room was quite quiet. Bathroom is small but you can manage. Breakfast was very good with large variety and nicely laid out.

La Casa di Amy - Rome, September 2015
Vacation stay. Hotel is within easy walk of Termini, and price is reasonable. The neighborhood, being close to Termini, is busy, seedy, and full of people trying to sell stuff. You will be approached constantly by street vendors. But the hotel was behind locked doors. It seems that the hotel is a family-run business, and they were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was OK. The bathroom was small, and in our room the shower was not enclosed except by a shower curtain. (Other rooms did have enclosed showers.) The breakfast was the typical ham, salami, cheese, coffee, juice, croissant, yogurt, and some fruit. But the room was a converted bedroom, and thus small and able to accommodate only 8 or so people at a time. But they would walk you to another area if the breakfast room was full. Since we were mostly out seeing Rome, the hotel was OK and I would recommend it for those trying to visit on a budget and for those not concerned about being in a posh facility.

Very good stay.
The hotel is very well localized. They have a nice staff which helped in every situation asked, such as: sightseeing, restaurants and transport information. The room were very well cleaned and I had a great time there. If one day I come back to Rome, I'll stay in the same place again. Currently recommending my sister and brother in law to stay there when they go to Rome.

Quaint, quiet, clean.
Lovely, friendly staff! Very clean and quiet room, lovely old building. Breakfast was a good selection of items and drinks, towels and shower were excellent quality. I booked a double bed for myself and slept wonderfully! Minor issue: the elevator in the second building doesn't always connect properly on the ground floor, so if you call it after a day of trekking around Rome it will arrive but the door will remain locked :(
