The hotel was nice for the price but was not in a very nice neighborhood and located a little further from the attractions but close to train station. It is a little difficult to find as there is no signage on the outside of the building. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Thumbs up
I've stayed at the Domeus Praetoria before and, as always, find it quite good for my needs. The price is right, the location is good, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet, considering its proximity to Termini. Staff is efficient and helpful.

The area around the Termini is kind of sketchy, with a large number of vagabonds, beggars and street sellers. That should not distract you from staying in this hotel. It is located in the vicinity of three of four of Rome's better restaurants and was great value for the money. The front desk staff was awesome, dealing with all of our questions and going above and beyond (for example calling a car to take us to the airport early the next morning). The room was clean, quiet and all the things you would expect of a boutique hotel. My only complaint is that is was really difficult to find, as it does not have a large sign on the street, but rather a button on the intercom. It makes it tough to find!

Great find close to Termini station, woke up every morning to a market at the front door, loved it! Windows are noise cancelling and allowed us to hear the bustling of the city at will. Laudromat around the corner. Plenty of places to eat. Front desk was polite and very helpful, did not get the room cleaned on one occasion and breakfast needs much improvement, but this does not take away from the excellent value of staying in this hotel and would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

During our 4 night stay Our hosts Massimo and Fabio made every effort to ensure our stay was pleasurable. Initially our room was on ground floor/street level which ended up being noisy as a result of the adjacent building.Massimo was gracious to accomodate us by placing us in a quieter location of the hotel. close to transportation and morning breakfast was average with coffee prepared on site which was a very nice touch.
