Great Stay
During travel to Rome, I make this hotel my hotel of choice. The hotel's location is excellent as are its services and accommodations. The hotel is located within two blocks of Rome's Metro (A) Line which provides excellent access to Termini, The Vatican, Trevi Fountain, etc. The front desk is staffed by excellent people and the restaurant's food and service is very good. The bathroom tub and shower may not be very convenient for people with mobility issues.

A wonderful experience to stay at this hotel!
We loved our stay at Albergo Ottocento! This hotel was our first stay in our first visit to Italy, and it was everything and so much more than we could have ever imagined! The beautiful setting, the building itself, and the immediate area were the most amazing and interesting places. We loved our stay there. Only thing is you have to be in good phsical shape to walk up the stairs. And be sure you have a map to help find the hotel, as the small walks and alleys are a maze to find your way around! But a wonderful adventure and fun!

Quiet location, walking distance to Trevi Fountain (closed - no water!), Spanish Steps, Piazza Bernini, plenty of shoppings, ATMs, some good restaurants, souvenir shops... Breakfast was great: Eggs and bacon cooked well. Bread in Italy as usual was a bit dry/ not fresh. Restaurant recommendations were great, promptness of taxi service also great. Would stay here again.
