Saga Hotel - Copenhagen
Excellent4.0 / 5
Not the greatest hotel in Copenhagen it is fair to say but it is cheap and has the basics. Also a good breakfast.Could be a bit noisy with children playing in the courtyard below at the back of the hotel so bring earplugs if coming in summer when you may have the window open at night.Very close to the train station and 5 minute walk to centre. The shared showers and toilets were sometimes busy and meant you had to wait from time to time but again the hotel is cheap. All in all good value for those on a budget.I would stay there again.

Very nice
If you go to Copenhagen which I fully recommend that you do, the first thing you'll notice is that the hotels are all very expensive compared to many other European cities. I did lots of research and needed a place centrally located as we have a 4 year old who doesn't like to walk very far. The hotel was perfect for it's location. Five minutes from the train station and Tivoli Gardens. The room was on the third floor and although no lift it was no great effort going up three flights of stairs. Room was fine. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. You should book the breakfast because if you try and eat locally it will be much much more expensive. We were overall very pleased. You must go to Tivoli. It was one of the most magical places I've ever been. We were also worried about where to eat in the evening and found a wonderful restaurant at the end of the road called Cafe Phonic which did excellent burgers and pizza so great for the whole family and not expensive at all. Overall great stay.
