Lovely, friendly arrival with a nice cocktail as we walked in! Gave us tips about travelling back and fourth into the centre of Amsterdam. It was our first time in Amsterdam and we had an amazing time. We stayed in a twin room as it was cheaper for us. The room was small and compact, but as are most buildings in Amsterdam! The hotel location is in a lovely area with beautiful surroundings, we enjoyed the walk from the hotel through the museum quarter and vondelpark daily which are very close by. The tram stop is literally outside which was good for late nights. Would of liked a kettle in the room for tea making facilities but it wasn't really an issue. Overall stay was great, clean, friendly and good location.

Location: perfect, only 2 3 stops by Tram # 2 from Rijks Museum (or 10 minutes walking only). Quiet surrounding, Vondelpark is just a stone away. Room: Very nice one for EUR 50 / night. Good value for money Staff: Very helpful. Thank you!

There are many small restaurants in the surrounding area and You can reach the City Centre easily with the tram/bus or even on Foot. I actually selected a Hotel which has a tub in the bathroom, but the bathtub was so small that it rather was a high shower tray. I guess I never saw such a tiny bathtub like this one.But that was also the only thing I have to complain a bit. The Service was very nice and friendly and we got many tipps regarding the sights we want so visit and the many other sights and how to reach then on the easiest way. The room was a little frugal but ok. We had a nice stay and would book this hotel again for the next trip to Amsterdam.

A long weekend sightseeing. The hotel was as described, refurbishing is ongoing. We had room 21 (penthouse/attic) which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to 3 flights of stairs, the third being wooden and quite steep. Being relatively fit, we managed! I had booked a twin room but when we got to our room noticed the bed was made up as a double, I mentioned it to the staff and it was put right within 5 minutes and not a problem. The room is quite noisy but living on a main road in the UK I didn't have a problem with it. My friend who isn't used to traffic noise found it very noisy. Everything in the room was new, as it had been recently refurbished. No wardrobes, just a few wall rails for hanging clothes, fine for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean, which is what we wanted as we didn't spend a lot of time in our room, it was just a base while we were out and about. The only thing we could have done with is a litter basket in the main room (we used a carrier bag) and perhaps a couple more hooks in the bathroom? Overall a pleasant stay close enough to Amsterdam to walk in, or jump on the tram.
