First time we stayed at the Brighton.Hotel was clean and matched description on website. Only small grumble was breakfast was a bit mean.

The online description was very accurate; the staff very capable and friendly; the breakfast excellent and the room perfectly alright. The common areas are comfortable and there's coffee and tea at one's disposal. It's situated a short walk from the town centre but there are a couple of buses that pass very close by. My specific stay was only marred by a group of noisy people staying in the room next to mine, who spent a couple of nights mostly awake, talking loudly both inside and outside their room and banging the door as they walked in and out. But this will have been bad luck as one cannot choose who'll be sharing the stay with us. Overall, it was a very good experience and I'd definitely recommend it and return in the future.

The owners did their upmost to make us feel comfortable. They really went out of their way to fulfill some special requests. It was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

Room was large light well presented and spotlessly clean. So was the en suite shower room. Owner was welcoming and helpful and even brought us plates napkins and cutlery when he saw us with a takeaway pizza. Downside is the area where the hotel is situated, not one of the nicest. That said we walked to and from the centre several times without any problems. The walk was easy enough, took around twenty minutes downhill, although took longer coming back.

The Brighton was perfect for an overnight stay. It's a 5 minute taxi drive from the railway station. Michael was very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean although the shower/toilet room was designed for small people! The breakfast was lovely, and again the staff were very helpful. I would certainly stay here again.
