The hotel was looking good on this re-visit. The staff were friendly and helpful as always. The rooms were of a good size. the location is unrivalled for access to shops, restaurants and city centre sights. However, I shall in future avoid rooms overlooking Pembroke Street-the pubs have late licences and the noise from revellers continues until the small hours.

Unfortunately we were put in one of the noisiest areas of the hotel. The noise coming from a pub outside our window kept us awake originally and we were then kept awake by people making noise in the room next door. Overall a bad experience as we got little or no sleep. After complaining the next morning the staff did offer a voucher for a nights stay to try and remedy the situation.

Hot room but superb location
Very hot room. Supplied with a fan on second night but first night didnt get much sleep at all. I'd read other comments regarding tge pillow hardness so brought one of my own! The supplied ones however werent that bad. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location couldn't be better.Check out the Oliver Plunkett for a great night and Elbow Lane restaurant a FANTASTIC steak. The car park is a short walk away so worth dropping bags with the front desk on arrival and when leaving so you don't have to lug them from the car park. Id book there again but maybe not at the height of summer.

Lovely hotel, bedroom noise disappointing
Desperately loud buzzing noise in my room from the electricity panel in bedroom. So much so, that I had to remove the card to disable all electricity to get some sleep... Disappointing, as it is a lovely hotel...
