Room was nice but the sound from the restaurant was constant and inescapable. Had to turn the tv volume up high to drown out music from below. Bathrooms could use a fan. Loved the communal rooms.

This was a beautiful hotel. And even though the room was the smallest offered, it felt spacious with the high ceilings and tall window. The furnishings were beautiful with nice lighting, and the bed comfortable. Some guests may not like the train that goes by about a block away, but I rather liked watching it and it wasn't very often. The location with a parking lot right behind, and restaurants all around in converted old brick buildings was really nice. I was staying alone and only there at night, and the property just had a very safe comforting feel. My only complaint would be that their website mentions coffee in the rooms, which I pretty much thought was standard anymore, but it is actually a central pot on the second floor for everyone so you have to get ready in the morning before enjoying a cup.(On the other hand it is a small hotel so its not like there are lots of people around if you want to get a cup in your jammies...:) I did love all the nice seating areas throughout the hotel for relaxing.
