I did not find the staff to be welcoming. Nobody came to fix a TV, which would not turn on. My room was tiny and shabby, behind a storage area.

First room I went to smelt strongly of smoke. I got the impression I was not believed when I reported this and asked to move room. The next day there was a change in attitude and I was moved to a new room which was fine. I still had the impression I was a nuisance rather than raising a reasonble objection to being assigned a smelly room.

The walls were quite thin, so we could hear everyone in the hall on our floor and the floors above and below. Also could hear quite a lot from the street. The rooms were spacious and clean, but they were poorly lit. There was only one power outlet, and you had to unplug one of three lamps in order to use it. There were no clocks/alarms in the room either.
