It's better than a bivvy. However, the bacon butties in the morning need some practice. There was a large number of immigrants that looked down on me, would not hold doors open, queue jumped and other poor manners and it really put me off. It really annoys me when people living there for free look down and display poor manners to people who have to pay out of their own pocket for the same "service".

Hotel is in a good location , check in was ok , but I felt 3pm check in and 10am check out was a little mean , beds were very hard and hotel is in need of a lick off paint .

We booked a superior double room with a sea view. We received a two single beds pushed together on wheels which we fell down the gap constantly, the room was very small with wallpaper hanging off the wall and had a note on the bed to say that the builders were on the scaffolding early in the morning so keep the curtain pulled for privacy, so never got to look at the pier or sea view. The hotel is very dated and needs renovations done urgently. There was piles of towels scattered round the hotel to catch water drips and the toilets downstairs were flooded. We had paid for breakfast which was only £5 per head but it was a buffet style with cold and soggy food. Wish I would have known and we would have gone to the harvester opposite. The hotel is in a prime location next to the lanes and opposite the pier but desperately needs work done and could be a wonderful place to stay.

Wallpaper coming off the walls (staircase). Buckets and towels in the entry hall and stairways as it was raining...

First impressions hotel tired and run down. Reception not welcoming. Some of the staff were disinterested. Room signage inaccurate. First room in basement very small in which bed only just fitted. Situated opposite a wedding disco. Pictures on wall of pornographic nature one of which was a woman mastebating the impression was of a room that could be hired by the hour. Room changed without question leading one to believe this room is always offered first to everyone. Second room bigger. Carpet stained, furniture threadbare bathroom falling to pieces, no plug for the sink, windows seized and mouldy, ribbons of peeling paint hanging off the building outside the window. Toilet was loose and cover to ciston damaged and not fitted securely . Overflow cover fell off into bath. Unfortunately we did not have time to look for an alternative hotel as we were due to meet with someone only 30 minutes after we checked in. Cannot believe it is described as a Premier hotel. We would never return or recommend this hotel. The price is outrageous for what they offer.
