Valentine's Day stay
Stayed for one night. Visited Art Museum and Lyric Opera. Convenient location.

My disappointment relates to your restaurant and club area. The restaurant service initially was confused, then I was abandoned, no doubt because too many servers initially came to my table, then none did. I would have ordered dessert and another beer if they had. Second, the mushroom and steak pie would be better described as pepper pot, because the pepper overwhelmed the taste of the other ingredients. The club area needs more attention. The laser printer cartridge was almost empty, judging by the poor quality of the prints, and the coffee service did not function because the beans were exhausted.

My wife, three kids under 10, and I recently spent a 4-day weekend in Chicago and stayed at The Club Quarters at Central Loop. The location of this hotel was ideal for our trip. It is within a short walking distance of the train and bus routes that will get you anywhere in the city. If the weather isn't frigid like it was for us, you could easily walk to some of the best attractions Chicago has to offer. (Millennium Park, Chicago Art Institute, Magnificent Mile, etc) We took the blue line train straight from O'Hare and got off at the Monroe stop, that is a mere block and a half from the hotel. The first day we arrived too early for check-in but decided to see if we could store our luggage for the day. The hotel staff were SO friendly and accommodating! They said our room wasn't ready yet but offered us a larger room with a kitchenette for a small up-charge of $38 total for our 3 nights. Then, they allowed us to have our room so we could leave our luggage. This was at 9:30 AM and check-in is not until 3PM. That really made our day much easier! We really appreciated the free filtered water station with complimentary water bottles on our floor. We would fill a few bottles every morning before heading out and refill them when we got back. The amazing coffee/espresso machine in the Private Club Living Room was great. My wife and I were able to enjoy coffee and lattes a few times each day. (WIth 3 kids you need lots of caffeine :) ) The Living Room was a great place to unwind after an activity filled day. We played a family game of Apples to Apples (provided) on a very cold night. There is a Guest Closet on every floor with extra pillows and blankets. We used our small fridge to keep leftover On our last day, our flight was not until the evening. Even though we checked out, the hotel was gracious enough to store our luggage until we were ready to go to the airport. We were grateful to not have to lug our stuff around all day on public transit. Overall, I would HIGH
