Every effort will be made to minimize noise and disturbance.

The Evelyn experience begins as soon as you walk into the Pop Art-bedecked lobby, a museum space unto itself that contains an actual Campbell's Soup Can by Andy Warhol, signed by the artist himself. The welcome continues at the front desk, where guests are greeted by the friendly, multinational staff, who between them boasts a formidable array of languages and smiles.

A veritable arts festival unto itself, The Evelyn also boasts The Living Room, a separate performance space that features regular music, comedy, and theater performances. You can also read your E-mail in one of the two handy Internet kiosks.

The experience, however, doesn't stop at the ground floor. Each of the 12 floors has its own installation of original art for you to enjoy. Then there are the guests themselves, who represent a cross-section of New York and all the lively arts. By the time you check out - if you check out - you'll agree that this is not just another hotel.

This is a smoke-free property.
